Dale has more than 46 years of experience in the practice of law. In his legal practice Dale is focused on residential and commercial real estate transactions, mortgages, corporations & business law, wills & estates, and powers of attorney. Dale also advises on family law matters such as prenuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements and inter-spousal contracts.
During his career Dale handled a broad range of client files focusing on mortgage law, debt recovery, security realization and foreclosure, general litigation including personal injury and matrimonial law, agricultural law, corporate and commercial law including small business incorporations as well as criminal defence and prosecutions, commercial transactions, landlord and tenant law and wills and estates. Although Dale no longer pursues court work, he has appeared in all levels of Courts including the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Dale received his Bachelor of Laws, LL.B, at the University of Saskatchewan in 1975 and has practiced law in Regina throughout his career.
Dale has been active in the community as a volunteer throughout his career. In the 1980’s Dale served as Director with Saskatchewan Special Olympics Society and was later elected to the Board of Directors of Sask. Sport Inc. responsible for Saskatchewan Lotteries where he served for many years, including serving as President & Chair of the Board of Directors. Dale also served on the Board of Directors for the Regina Exhibition Association Limited, including serving as Chair of the Board of Directors. Dale has volunteered with many community organizations and events including, Junior Achievement of Southern Sask., the Grey Cup, the Tim Horton’s Brier, the Can-Am Police and Fire Games to name a few.
